Warehouse Management System Has Achieved Upgraded by Batory Foods

Batory Foods, is a US-based ingredients distributor, has announced that it has implemented an upgraded warehouse management system at its 170,000ft2 Chicago distribution facility, the base of the company’s national distribution network.

The project, which was implemented over the course of two years, was initiated as part of Batory Foods' corporate excellence program, which emphasizes a commitment to continuous improvement.

The new system introduces customer-centric efficiencies in the supply chain through best-in-class logistics technology.

Batory noted that the new system allows the company and its customers to meet increasingly stringent government regulations pertaining to quality assurance and safety. Its technology tracks product information, dates, lots and freshness with unparalleled precision in real time.

In addition, the system streamlines the documentation process dramatically.

The system was implemented in partnership with supply chain consultancy enVista and supply chain process platform Manhattan Associates.
