Federal Corp. Wrapped up Its Diamond Jubilee Year with a Celebration Dinner in Las Vegas

Federal Corp. wrapped up its Diamond Jubilee year with a celebration dinner in Las Vegas for its partners and customers. The Taiwanese company thanked guests for a record year and says it anticipates a continued upturn in global sales.

“I would like to thank our partners and customers worldwide for their loyalty, not just in 2014, but over the last 60 years. It is thanks to their support that we are now in pole position for 2015,” says Da-Wu Chen, global sales and marketing director.

“We are excited to continue our global expansion, delivering our outstanding service to partners, clients and end-users looking for high-speed thrills and cutting-edge products with proven race-track pedigree.”

Federal was founded in Taiwan in 1954 and is Taiwan’s first registered tire manufacturer. The company shared milestones from its 60-year history with dinner guests. Highlights include:

* In 1965, Federal is granted U.S. DOT (UX) trademark approval, the beginning of Federal’s export business to the Greater China region;

* In 1978, Federal is the first tire manufacture to produce radial tyres in the Greater China region and South East Asia, including the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia; and

* In 2005, Federal pioneers the industry by developing a motorsport department and the first slick tyre in Greater China and South East Asia.

Federal is one of Taiwan’s major exporter of tires with a presence in over 120 markets worldwide. The company broke ground on its third tire plant in Taiwan last month.
