Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. VSH +0.98% today introduced a new series of molded, automotive-grade MicroTan(R) solid tantalum chip capacitors. For the next generation of space-constrained automotive electronics, the TP8 is the first AEC-Q200-qualified tantalum capacitor series to employ a high-volumetrically efficient packaging solution to enable industry-high capacitanceThat property of a system of conductors and dielectrics which permits the storage of electricity when potential difference exists between the conductors.
