American Radionic and Its AmRad Division Hold Nearly 30 Patents and Trademarks

"My father started the business in Brooklyn, New York and relocated to Florida in 1987,” said Vice President of AmRad Richard Stockman. “We were a major supplier for over 35 years to the big three domestic automotive companies and the move gave us the opportunity to expand production and continue to lead the way when it came to lean manufacturing,” he added.

American Radionic and its AmRad division hold nearly 30 patents and trademarks on its film capacitor designs. AmRad is owned by Robert Stockman, President, and Richard Stockman, Vice President and they employ 65 people in their Flagler County manufacturing plant. They are a leader in metallized film capacitor technology. They offer high quality, American-made products, with all capacitors 100% designed and manufactured in Palm Coast, FL.

AmRad Engineering is the manufacturer of the patented Turbo200 series of Universal Replacement MotorRun Capacitors. Prior to its invention, technicians that service multiple brands of air conditioners would carry 50 to 75 different capacitors on their truck. The invention of the Turbo200 allowed technicians to stock just one capacitor, eliminating a truck or warehouse full of inventory. They recently added a 5-year warranty to their Turbo200 to further deepen their commitment to quality.

American Radionic is located at 32 Hargrove Grade, Palm Coast Industrial Park, Palm Coast, Florida. Hours of operation are open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:30pm. They can be reached at 800-445-6033, or online at http://www.americanradionic.com and on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/AmRadEngineeringTurbo200. The website contains wiring and installation instructions for the Turbo200 capacitors. AmRad offers factory tours Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 4:30pm (other times available).
