The facility uses the NG4+ thermal transfer coder in combination with a Rotech feeder to print use-by dates, batch numbers, times, barcodes as well as other text on plastic PP film bags, which carry dried fruits.

The new system has been designed for flexible printing on packaging materials of large print areas of five to 10cm at speed of 50 items per minute.

According to Allen Coding, the NG4+ can be combined with an integrated control unit.

With speeds of up to 500mm per second, the machine can operate on labeling and packaging machines in intermittent mode and 29m per minute in continuous mode.

Gérard de Saint-Martin from Allen France said, "Our customer chose this option since it offered the best resolution as well as clean, sharp print, reliability and a larger print area compared to competitive machines."

The food company is using Codesoft label design and integration software, which allows the user to quickly create labels.
