Wells & Young is all set to launch Estrella Damm lager in a new 660ml bottle in November 2013 in the UK.
The company hopes to meet the demand for large bottles, which are said to be the fastest growing format for premium world lager in the UK, with the launch. The beer is currently available in 330ml bottles.
Wells & Young Estrella Damm brand manager Genna Burchell said the company has launched the new bottle to help people experience its accompaniment to food at home."
"As well as providing a great sharing option, the sleek, premium design looks as well placed on the table as a bottle of wine," Burchell added.
The company plans to initially launch the 660ml in Tesco, with further launch in the remaining parts of the country expected later.
