Automated Packaging Systems to Launch New Bag Packaging Machines

Automated Packaging Systems is set to launch new bag packaging machines including the Autobag AB 180 Print-n-Pack, AB 180 with AccuCount, Pacesetter PS 125 OneStep and the FAS SPrint Revolution, in Australia.

The company's new Autobag AB 180 Print-n-Pack bagger comes with an inline thermal transfer printer for applying high-resolution graphics, text and barcodes onto the bag directly.

Claimed to be suitable for small to medium products in bags up to 28cm wide and 56cm long, the system operates at speeds up to 80 bags per minute.

According to the company, the bagger also integrates with automatic infeeds such as the Autobag Accu-Count 200 automatic counter.

The all-electric tabletop bagger, Pacesetter PS 125 OneStep, can pack up to 25 bags per minute in low to medium volume hand-load operations. Its applications include bag packaging for a range of hardware, electronics, plumbing, crafts, automotive, medical and kit components.

Designed for use in food packaging applications, the FAS SPrint Revolution has a conveyor of pre-opened bags that are ready for immediate loading from a wide workspace.
