Standardization Administration of the People’s Republic of China has released the GB 24849-2010 “Minimum allowable values of energy efficiency and energy efficiency grades for household and similar microwave ovens”, it will take effect on Dec. 1st, 2010. The related requirements are as follows,
1) The energy efficiency certification for household and similar microwave ovens will implement on new standard since the notice released.
2) For those products that have obtained the certificates, holders should submit the application for certificate transferring after the notice released and before the next follow-up inspection. And upon completion and pass the full item test then the new certificate can be issued.
3) Transfer of old certificates should be completed by Jun 1st, 2011, If those certificate were not transferred on time, they would be suspended, if they failed to be replaced , they will be withdrawn by CQC.
