The Investment Is Set to Increase The Production Volume as Well as The Efficiency

Food production and sales company Premia Foods has invested in a new cone ice cream packaging machine, which enables to double the speed of packaging of the ice creams marketed under the brand ‘Eriti Rammus’.

According to the company, the investment is set to increase the production volume as well as the efficiency of the production on the ice cream line.

Premia Foods has also invested €750,000 to purchase a new impulse ice cream production line from Tetra Pak, in a bid to increase the speed of production by 50% per hour at its Tallinn-based ice cream factory in Estonia.

The line will also allow the company to reduce labor and energy costs, and will provide opportunities for product innovation.

Premia Foods chairman of the management board Katre Kovask said, "These investments will soon enable us, among other things, to please all ice cream lovers with new products in all of our target markets."
