Rainbow Colours Has Joined Music Trade Body MIA

Rainbow Colours, which supplies coloured strings and books to help kids learn to play instruments, has joined music trade body MIA.

This means the company is now a part of the national Learn to Play Day which takes place on March 16th.

The Learn to Play Day sees shops offer free instrument lessons to the general public for one day. The idea is to encourage greater footfall and get people interested in instruments.

Rainbow Colours is supplying sale on return to Footes, Shadesmusic, Stagebeat and Absolute Music, among other stores.

Chris Poole from Rainbow Colours also believes toy stores can take advantage of stocking small instruments to encourage children to learn to play the guitar, ukelele, keyboard and more.

"The Learn to Play Day encourages more people to start learning music, and what better or easier way is there than Rainbow Colours?" he said.

Rainbow Colours' keyboard book will also be ready in three weeks to add to its range.
