The target installation capacity for PV rooftop systems and power-generating stations and that for wind power-generating turbines set by the China government for 2017 will entail financing of CNY1.58 trillion (US$255 billion) over 2014-2017, according to accounting service provider Ernst & Young.
According to China's 12th Five-year Plan, the cumulative installation capacity for PV rooftop systems and power-generating stations and that for wind power-generating turbines will reach 35GWp and 100GWp respectively by the end of 2015. The former will increase to 70GWp and the latter to 160GWp by the end of 2017, China's National Development and Reform Commission forecasts.
