Perfecseal, a division of Bemis, has unveiled a new polyvinyl chloride (PVC)-Free blister forming web, PerfecForm SkyBlue.
According to the company, manufactured through a co-extrusion process as a symmetrical structure, the high barrier blister film is based on polyolefin chemistry.
Sandwiched between co-polyester, the thickness of the barrier layer is said to determine the overall barrier performance.
PerfecForm SkyBlue provides barrier properties to protect the highest barrier requirement product applications.
Perfecseal manufactures co-extruded films, laminated films, flexible forming films, foil barrier laminations, pouches, bags, thermoformed trays, lids, labels, heat seal coated DuPont Tyvek and heat seal coated medical grades of paper.
