UKraine's DMKD to Increase Crude Steel Production in The Current Year by 12.5 Percent

Ukrainian steelmaker Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Works named after F. Dzerzhinsky (DMKD), a subsidiary of Ukrainian steel producer Industrial Union of Donbass (ISD), has stated that it plans to increase crude steel production in the current year by 12.5 percent compared to 2012, to 3.544 million mt. In addition, in the given year DMKD's production of pig iron is expected to rise by 0.6 percent to 3.034 million mt, while it is targeting an agglomerate output of 5.306 million mt, up 6.4 percent, both on year-on-year basis.
