Boxes and Packaging to Open New Unit in England

Boxes and Packaging, a part of the Logson Group, is opening a new facility at Thorne Park, Doncaster, England, a few months after a similar move in Swindon.

The leased 52,160ft2 unit is part of the 150,000ft2 industrial and warehouse area being developed by Henry Boot Developments.

Boxes and Packaging specializes in designing and manufacturing of corrugated packaging, in-house printing and ancillary packaging products.

The company has an integrated network of 12 manufacturing operations across Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow in the UK.

Boxes and Packaging (Doncaster) managing director Stacey Austin said: "We made the decision to expand our Doncaster operations to Thorne Park due to its excellent location and access to the UK motorway networks.

"It will allow us to increase our production capabilities, enjoy increased logistical efficiencies and drive further growth for our company and for the local economy."

Rcently, Boxes and Packaging relocated its Swindon site into an energy efficient building with an area of 56,900ft2 and invested in a new 3.2m printer slotter rotary die cutter.
