Apple has rolled out the new iOS 10.2 update for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, bringing multiple new features along for the ride.
The update, which has been in beta for the last six weeks, allows users to preserve the last used camera setting.
It also brings the long-promised new TV app that enables access to streaming services through a single platform. Unfortunately it’s US only right now.
There’s also three new wallpapers for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
Apple is introducing the Unicode 9.0 emoji standards, which brings 100 new emojis into play. These include, new faces, food, animals, sports and professions.
iOS 10.2 improves stabilisation and offers a faster frame rate for the Live Photos features, while also improving accuracy of groupings in the People album feature.
The Messages app gets new Love and Celebration effects, while also fixing an issue that stopped the keyboard from displaying.
The News app will now bring saved stories into a Saved section, while the best stories from subscribed channels appear within a dedicated For You section.
You can download the update from the Settings > General > Software Update menu on your iOS 10 device.
Apple is also rolling out an update for the the Apple TV (tvOS 10.1) which also includes the new TV app.
