Husky to Unveil Hypersync Integrated Specialty Closure System at K 2016

Husky Injection Molding Systems plans to introduce HyperSync, a fully integrated system designed for specialty closure manufacturing, at the k 2016 event scheduled to be held in Germany from October 19-26.

At the event, Husky said that it will showcase HyperSync synchronized system’s enhanced performance, fast cycle times, and improved part quality.

Featuring hot runner and auxiliaries, the HyperSync is designed to optimize the productivity and efficiency which allows for production of quality parts at industry-leading cycle times, the company said.

Husky medical and specialty packaging president Steve Lawrynuik said: “We are confident that the development effort put into HyperSync is well worth it – this system delivers on performance, energy efficiency and ease of use, in order to ensure the best possible performance and parts for our customers.”

HyperSync system also provides increased electrification to ensure optimum energy usage, helping in reduction of operating costs and total cost of ownership.

Husky is also introducing new eIMC in-mold closing technology designed to allow for the safe overlapping of mold functions.

The servo-driven technology offers precise, controlled closing of flip-top closures as well as up to 20% increase in productivity, with nearly two seconds saved per cycle depending on the application, the company said.

Husky Injection Molding Systems is engaged in providing injection molding equipment and services to the plastics industry.
