Printing solutions provider Esko has launched a new digital finishing system, the Kongsberg C at the 2013 SGIA Expo in Orlando, Florida, US, held from 23-25 October 2013.
Kongsberg C systems are available in two models including the C60 and the C64, both of which feature super-wide digital finishing systems.
Esko Digital Finishing Business vice president Steve Bennett said the company has developed the new system by consulting its customers before and during the development.
"The new Kongsberg C leapfrogs competitive tables on many ways," Bennett said.
According to the company, the Kongsberg C offers versatility for all sign, display as well as packaging applications.
Features of the new finishing system include carbon-composite traverse beam and Kongsberg XP tooling.
The new workstation, which can be mounted on machine, comes with integrated joystick and operator panel on the traverse along with option for the addition of a second operator panel.
