Brimming with Variety of Resources Is Displayed by La Textile

The Los Angeles International Textile Show (LA TEXTILE) will debut a well-rounded showcase October 22-24, 2012 for Fall/Winter 2013/2014.  Located at the California Market Center (CMC) since 1993, this edition of the Show features a number of new exhibitors for textile, design & production resources, and the return of the European Collections Pavilion, Lenzing Innovation Pavilion and the Korean Pavilion presented by KOTRA.  

Additionally, attendees can expect complimentary, daily seminars by world-renowned trend forecasters and industry experts, an Opening Night Reception co-hosted by Lenzing and LA TEXTILE, a coffee and tea bar the first two mornings of the show courtesy of Cotton, Inc., and a Trend Gallery co-curated by trend partner WGSN and LA TEXTILE.
 
New resources debuting this season among the special Pavilions and Show floors include 2B Diffusions, ABM Global, Anna Griffin Inc, Bharat Silks, Crispim Abreu, Edicate C.W. Fasteners & Zippers Corp, Darlington Fabrics, Lemor Trims, Esteneks, Moda Artisans, Myletex, PCB Label Co, Inc, Soelco Inc, Timeless Treasures Fabrics of SoHo LLC, Tradegood. Noteworthy returning mills include Danfield, Inc, Design Knit, Inc, JM International, Malhia Kent, Simona B USA, Solstiss USA, Friday Fabrics LTD, AB Creations, Bel Maille, Tiss & Teint, Vema, Junior Hagen LTD, and EcoHides, to name a few. 
 
Returning for a fifth edition of LA TEXTILE is the Lenzing Innovation Pavilion, presenting its impressive network of Lenzing affiliated companies & products offering superior fiber, yarn and fabric innovations.  Located in Penthouse showrooms and booths, the exhibitor list includes Asher Fabric Concepts, Design Knit, Laguna Fabrics, Shara-Tex, Texollini, Ecotex, Unitex, Zentex, Buhler Quality Yarns Corp., American Fabrics International, Britannia Mills Ltd, Epic Textiles, Tuscarora Yarns, Impex Textiles, Indigo Handloom, Pacific Coast Knitting, and Sextet Fabrics.  Brand new to the show will be Crispim Abreu LDA, a Lenzing Partner knitting mill offering full package production from Portugal.
 
"Lenzing is pleased to continue our partnership with the CMC's LA International Textile Show,” said Susan Mocarski, USA Merchandiser for Lenzing. “Lenzing’s focus at this Show will be our MicroModal (R) and Lenzing Modal (R) Edelweiss, presenting our latest partner mills and internal fabric developments as well as brand name garments manufactured using all of our branded fibers.” 

The Korean Pavilion, presented by KOTRA, will be featured in the Fashion Theater, Main Lobby, and will showcase an expanded collection of Korea’s best textile mills and distributors. Increasing from eight to thirteen exhibitors this edition, attendees can expect to find PremyTex, Silveray Co, Chung Woo Textile Co., Youngdo TrimArt Co., Duksung P&T, L-Button, Korea Textile Center, Daedo Trd. Co., Rohan Fabric, Leesmoolsan, JH Textile Inc, Welland International, Okto F.Works.Co, plus others. 

“We are looking forward to another great Show this October,” said Hannah Lee, Project Manager for KOTRA. “LA TEXTILE attendees will get a chance to see an expanded array of high quality Korean textile products at low prices.” 

Attendees are invited to an Opening Night Reception co-hosted by Lenzing and LA TEXTILE, featuring complimentary passed hors d'oeuvres from Trader Vics LA Live, an organic wine bar courtesy of Frey Vineyards, and live beats from DJ Mahli. Open to attendees and exhibitors, the reception is scheduled from 5:00pm-7:00pm, Monday, October 22, located in Penthouse Suite 19. 
 
Industry guests will also find complimentary seminars presented by industry luminaries Peclers Paris, Promostyl, Stylesight, WGSN, Lenzing, Fashion Snoops, California Fashion Association (CFA), Fashion Business Inc. (FBI), Design Options, and Cotton, Inc. All seminars take place in the Penthouse, Suite 19. 
A Trend Gallery co-curated by LA TEXTILE and trend partner WGSN will be featured in the Main Lobby of the CMC, highlighting the three major trends for the Fall/Winter 2013/2014 season: Hack-tivate, 21st Century Romance, and Living Design.

The Fall/Winter 2013/2014 edition of LA TEXTILE Show will take place Monday-Wednesday October 22-24, 2012 at the California Market Center. Show hours are 10:00am-6:00pm on Monday and Tuesday, and 10:00am-5:00pm on Wednesday.
