The Sales Volume of Heavy Trucks Is 63,000 Units,up by 29% Y-O-Y

The heavy duty truck industry marches towards positive growth pushed by such favorable factors such as economic recovery, upturn of mine and coal transpiration and implementation of China 4 standard.

In November, the sales volume of heavy trucks is 63,000 units, up by 29% over the same period of last year, and 4% over last month. There are four enterprises seeing more than 10,000 units, namely Dongfeng (13,400 units), FAW (11,500 units), Sinotruk (10,000 units) and Foton (10,000 units), up by 38%, 41%, 38% and 38% respectively year on year. The No.5 Shacman sells 7300 units, up by 4% year on year. JAC, Hongyan and CAMC sells 2700 units, 1956 units and 1612 units respectively, up by 16%, 21% and 61% year on year. Benben suffers a decrease in November by selling 1050 units, down by 44% over the same period of last year (1881 units).

Looking back the whole 2013, the whole industry sees a sales volume of 690,800 units in the first 11 months, up by 18% year on year. The industry sees a sales volume of 636,000 units in 2012. It is clear to expect a sales volume surpassing 700,000 units, around 750,000 units to 760,000 units.

In the meantime, the market is divided into a new pattern. In the whole year, Dongfeng, FAW, Sinotruk and Foton form the first camp thanks to over 100,000 units of sales. Dongfeng leads others by 20,000-30,000 units. From January to November, Dongfeng sells 144,800 units, up by 17%, 26,000 units more than the second one-FAW. FAW, Sinotruk and Foton lag one another in less than 10,000 units. Seen from the chart, from January to November, FAW sells 118,200 untis (up by 22% year on year), Sinotruk sells 109,000 units (up by 11% year on year) and Foton sells 104,300 units (up by 30% year on year).

In the first 11 months, Shacman in the second camp sells 87,100 units, up by 12% year on year. In the third camp, JAC sells 30,500 units in the first 11 months, up by 25% year on year, ranking No.6. SAIC-IVECO HONGYAN and CAMC remain the two who enjoy largest growth rates, accumulating to sell 23,700 units and 21,300 units, up by 56% and 54%. Beben accumulates to sell 16,700 units, declining by 27% over the same period of last year (23,000 units), becoming the only one suffering decrease.
