Nova Bus has secured a $143m order to provide 153 articulated buses to Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) in Canada.
The buses, which will be built at Nova's Saint-Eustache and Saint-François-du-Lac plants, will be new-generation versions of the LFS Artic models with stainless steel bodies and diesel engines.
The 62ft LFS Artic vehicles are designed to handle high-volume routes and the first vehicle is scheduled to be delivered in 2013.
Since the production launch of LFS Artic buses, the company had won several orders from North American cities including Montreal, New York City, Austin, Quebec City, Halifax, Saskatoon, and Niagara Falls.
