Schweppes Australia Launches Lqd+ Across Australia

Schweppes Australia has launched a new water enhancement product in Australia, Lqd+.

Lqd+ allows for consumers to add sugar-free colour and flavouring into water. It currently comes in three flavours; tropical, berry and lemon.

Up to 24 250ml beverages can be made from each Lqd+ bottle. The bottle should be used within 30 days of opening but it does not need to be kept in the fridge.

There is no sugar in the drink product with a mixture of sucralose and acesulfame potassium used instead to create the beverage. Schweppes started trialling the product in South Australia late 2014 but it is now available in Coles, Woolworths and many petrol and convience locations. Lqd+ will soon be sold in independent grocers, likely beginning mid October 2015.

The recommended retail price is up to $5.50 per 48ml bottle.
