LeapFrog Launches New Interactive Activity Book System, Leapstart

The line launches with two devices, one for pre-school children and one for kids in the first years of primary school.

LeapFrog has unveiled its new interactive learning system, LeapStart, an activity book concept designed to help kids prepare for school.

The line launches with two devices, one for pre-school children and one for kids in the first years of primary school and boasts a range of activities designed to get kids excited about maths, literacy, science and more.

The LeapStart Pre-school system is aimed at kids aged two to four, the Primary School system is designed for kids aged five to seven and comes with an interactive stylus with which users can activate audio responses and play activities.

Each book in the line features over 30 activities including letter tracing, number hunting, exploration and more.

Meanwhile, 16 activity books across four learning levels have been designed to work with the LeapStart interactive systems and grow with each child. There are four books at each learning level and together they teach over 50 key skills.

The LeapStart library also enables children to grow and develop by teaching core skills integrated with life skills.

“Today’s parents realise that learning is more than just the alphabet and 123s, it is also about problem solving and critical thinking, said Jody Sherman LEVos, PhD, director of learning at LeapFrog.

“Through fun-filled activities and engaging adventures that progess one step at a time, the LeapStart interactive activity book system brings learning to life to provide children with the tools they’ll need to thrive in tomorrow’s world.”

LeapStart launches from July 15th and carries a £34.99 price tag and will be joined by a collection of 16 LeapStart Activity books, each priced at £9.99.
