Gotek Is Relying on a Speedmaster Cx 102 From Heidelberg

Russia-based packaging printer Gotek is relying on a Speedmaster CX 102 with Prinect Inpress Control from Heidelberg.

Gotek-Print managing director Sergei Sumin said the press meets its crucial criteria, such as printing, process reliability, high productivity, and efficient maintenance.

"With Prinect Inpress Control, we cut our waste significantly, most especially when using spot colors. We also save a great deal of money, as card is very expensive. We print for well-established brand owners that insist on absolutely correct color reproduction for repeat jobs," Sumin said.

"Changes are rare - around 80 percent of orders are printed without any corrections and our customers receive consistent color results. Our employees in the pressroom are also delighted with the excellent ease of operation of the Speedmaster CX 102, which has a direct impact on the press's productivity."

At the start of 2012, Russia's first Speedmaster CX 102 from Heidelberger Druckmaschinen, (Heidelberg) was installed at Gotek packaging print shop.

By the end of 2012 the six-color press with coating unit and integrated Prinect Inpress Control color measuring system, which controls ink and register on the fly, will have print over 21 million sheets.

Gotek comprising of group of companies started producing commercial jobs since 1960s. Its broad-based product range covers corrugated board and all kinds of packaging, including flexographically printed micro-flute packaging, offset-printed folding cartons, and flexible and press-formed packaging.
