The Dumping of Hot Rolled Carbon Steel Plate Imports From Brazil

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal has announced that it has found that the dumping of hot rolled carbon steel plate imports from Brazil, Denmark, Indonesia, Italy, Japan and South Korea has not caused but is threatening to cause injury to the domestic industry. Therefore, the Canada Border Services Agency will collect antidumping (AD) duty for the imports in question.

The antidumping duty investigation started in September 2013 following the application made by Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario-based Essar Steel Algoma Inc.
