Styrolution Europe Has Nominated a Eur25/mt Increase in Its Polystyrene Contract Price

Styrolution Europe has nominated a Eur25/mt increase in its polystyrene contract price for June from May, the company said Tuesday.

The company did not provide an outright value for its contracts but added that the premium of its high impact polystyrene grade would be unchanged at Eur115/mt.

Platts last assessed GPPS net prices at Eur1,565/mt FD Northwest Europe and HIPS net prices at Eur1,675/mt on May 29.

On Monday, the NWE styrene monomer contract price for June was fully settled at Eur1,414/mt ($1,842/mt) FOB ARA, negotiating parties confirmed. The June CP represented a Eur14/mt increase from the May contract price of Eur1,400/mt FOB ARA.
