Outlook Procures an EF Press with APC From Mps for Label Production

US-based Outlook Group has procured an EF Press with APC (Automated Print Control) from printing and converting machines firm MPS Systems North America (MPS) for label production and flexible packaging printing.

Claiming to offer a device capable of giving superior print quality, automation features, ease of operation and flexibility, the 17-inch 10-color EF Press is both automated and multi-substrate flexo press.

It can print thin films while holding a very tight register.

Outlook Group senior process engineer Brett Peters said: "We were really impressed with what MPS showed us during their demonstration of the EF... Most important, they demonstrated the press's ability to hold tight register control, which is vital to our business."

The new machine is also expected to help the firm expand into new horizons.

The device is backed by MPS's Crisp.Dot technology that deploys a free running, rubberized impression roller to enhance print quality by decreasing dot gain and preventing barring.

Outlook Group caters to consumers with broad printing capabilities, engineered processes, certified quality and efficient logistics, while its printing and packaging lineup has offset, variable, digital and flexographic printing, converting, contract packaging and fulfillment.

MPS Systems North America is an arm of MPS Systems, which is based in the Netherlands.
