2015 Polyurethanes Technical Conference

Registration is now open for the longest-running polyurethanes conference in North America.

The 2015 Polyurethanes Technical Conference, hosted by the Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI) of the American Chemistry Council, brings together leaders from across the industry for the latest information on critical innovations and opportunities that will impact all sectors of the polyurethanes industry. The Conference will also introduce a new Professional Development Program course for those with non-scientific backgrounds or who are new to the industry.

“CPI’s annual conference offers a unique convergence of industry expertise, professional networking and regulatory issues designed to advance this dynamic industry,” said Lee Salamone, senior director of CPI. “By opening the registration process earlier this year, we are giving attendees and innovators from polyurethanes companies greater ability to lock in early bird rates at this premier industry event.”

Featuring more than 80 presentations on topics spanning everything from cutting-edge polyurethanes technologies and chemistry-focused technical discussions to big-picture analysis of industry technology trends, the Polyurethanes Technical Conference remains a benchmark for the industry’s top technical discussions and presentations.

“This conference, more than any other, provides insights on industry technology trends as they happen,” said Susan Norris, this year’s conference chair and senior account/marketing manager at Momentive Performance Materials Inc. “Attendees at the Polyurethanes Technical Conference can be confident that the longest-running North American polyurethanes conference is also the most current on cutting-edge industry technology.”

Additional events include CPI’s Polyurethane Professional Development Program, the Industry Reception, the Table Top Exhibition, the Polyurethane Innovation Award and a pre-conference workshop on environmental, health and safety issues.

During this year’s event, CPI will unveil the 2014 End-Use Market Survey on the Polyurethanes Industry in the United States, Canada and Mexico. The survey provides a breakdown of polyurethane production by type and by major end-use market for each country over a two-year period, as well as historic trends, market drivers and key issues. This biennial survey has been published for more than 25 years.

The Conference will take place Oct. 5-7 at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Orlando, Florida.
