In the first half of this year, Ukraine's ferroalloy production increased by 31.4 percent compared to the same period last year to 534,600 mt, as stated by the Association of Ukrainian Ferroalloy Producers (UkrFA).
Accordingly, in the given period Ukraine's silicomanganese output increased by 26.1 percent to 386,000 mt, its ferromanganese production went up by 21.9 percent to 53,400 mt, while its ferrosilicon output increased by 77.9 percent to 95,200 mt, all compared to January-June 2013.
