Primary fresh food packaging company Linpac has partnered with Saudi Arabia-based Zultec Group to build a new PET thermoforming facility in Jeddah.
The proposed facility will supply Linpac branded rigid and flexible packaging materials for food processors and retailers in fresh meat and poultry in the Saudi Arabia, GCC and neighboring countries.
Linpac chairman and CEO Daniel Dayan said: "We are delighted to formalise our relationship with the Zultec Group. Zultec has a long history of serving the Middle East food industry and has a deep local knowledge, which when complemented by the Linpac packaging portfolio and intellectual property, creates a powerful opportunity for both companies.
"We aim to continue to invest and develop the relationship by establishing further extrusion and thermoforming capabilities in the region as the business grows."
With 21 locations across the world, Zultec manufactures and distributes end-of-the-line packaging solutions & packaging materials. It also supplies engineering & IT solutions.

Linpac has18 manufacturing sites where it produces plastic packaging, container, and film products. Its network also includes 23 sales operations.
