Allied Glass Designs New Bottle for Scottish Gin Caorunn

Glass packaging provider Allied Glass has designed a brand new bottle for Scottish gin Caorunn.

The new bottle is said to represent five natural Scottish botanicals that surround the Speyside distillery.

Allied Glass has developed new pentagonal shape and five-pointed asterisk base for the bottle, in a bid offer added presence to the gin.

The firm has produced new bottle by using extra white Flint glass, helping to represent the aromatic spirit of Scotland.

The bottle’s re-design was inspired by JDO, the five-pointed shape being developed to encapsulate the Scottish Highland heritage with a contemporary edge and refined design.

Caorunn is a small batch and quadruple-distilled Scottish gin, which is prepared by using pure grain spirit, natural Scottish water and 11 botanical gin ingredients.

The signature for Simon Buley, Caorunn gin master, is printed on each bottle of Caorunn, reflecting his entire craftsmanship process for each vessel.

Simon said: “I am proud to see Caorunn showcased within such an exquisite bottle. The design has taken into consideration the Celtic botanicals foraged on the hills around Balmenach Distillery and how Caorunn is infused in the world’s only working Copper Berry Chamber. The care and attention of the spirit and bottle sets Caorunn apart.”

In January this year, Allied Glass designed a new bottle for Jawbox Gin, which represents the heritage and quality of the spirit.

Allied Glass has used an extra white flint glass to produce the bottle for Jawbox Gin. The design features an intricate embossing on the bottle’s front shoulder panel, providing better look for the bottle.

Allied is engaged in the design, development and manufacturing of glass packaging solutions for the customers.

The company provides its packaging solutions to the brands of food and drinks, including Diageo Scotland, Morrison Bowmore, Whyte & Mackay, William Grant & Sons, Greene King, Heinz and Princes Foods.
