As Per Trade Reports Approximately 2 Crore 40 Lakh Bales Have Arrived in The Market

As per trade reports approximately 2 crore 40 lakh bales have arrived in the market till now. As per trade reports approximately 80 lakhs bales of Cotton is lying as unsold stock with the Cotton Traders, Ginners, Exporters and CCI together. CCI has procured approximately 2.75 lakh bales till now in Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat and few other states. There is still cotton arriving in irrigated fields of Vidharba in Maharashtra and Khamam, Warangal in Andhra Pradesh.  

NORTH ZONE [PUNJAB /HARYANA/RAJASTHAN] The arrivals are quickly coming down in most of the cotton growing areas. The price for good quality Punjab J-34 r/g is Rs.4560/- per maund spot while in Haryana and Rajasthan it is Rs. 4450/-per maund spot.   GUJARAT The price for S-6 is quoted at Rs.42,000/-Spot per candy. The quality of S-6 cotton has started to deteriorate and variations have been observed in the present deliveries. Good quality Harij V-797 r/g is quoted at Rs.32,000/-Spot per candy.   MAHARASHTRA  Good quality Maharashtra 29 mm Bunny cotton is quoted at Rs.41,500/- per candy spot. Micronaire of the cotton has dropped to 3.5 in Maharashtra.  

MADHYA PRADESH Seed cotton arrivals started slowing down and soon after the Maha Sivarathri hot season began. Cotton lint prices displayed an easy trend. Daily average arrivals are around 12000 bales. Ruling prices for Mech 1/H4 of average quality ranged Rs.41800 to 42400 per candy spot. Brisk buying trend slackened.  

ANDHRA PRADESH Good quality 29mm Bunny in Adilabad is quoted at Rs.42,000/-Spot per candy while 30mm Bunny from Nandyal is quoted at Rs.43,800/-Spot per candy and some parts of Khamam.KARNATAKA  Good quality 30 mm Bunny stock lots are quoted at Rs.43,700/- spot per candy in North Karnataka in stations like Dharwad, Saundatti and Ranebennur. The 29 mm Bunny quality of Raichur area is quoted at Rs.42,500/-Spot per candy. 32MM plus lots are not on easy reach. DCH 32 equivalent ruled Rs.63000 to 64500 per candy spot. Seed cotton daily average arrivals are around 10000 bls.  

TAMILNADU Good quality MCU-5 from Konganapuram and areas surrounding Salem is sold at Rs.46,500/-Spot per candy and the quality is very good at the moment.The power position too is good in Tamil Nadu and Mills are truly benefited by Yarn exports to China as domestic yarn markets are very sluggish at the moment and payment position too is poor in domestic yarn market. Seed cotton arrivals are continuing.
