Black Milk Clothing's DC Comics Collection Is Preparing for an Epic Sequel

Like all Super Hero blockbusters, Black Milk Clothing’s DC Comics collection is preparing for an epic sequel.

The second phase of the Australian clothing brand’s collaboration with Warner Bros. Consumer Products Australia and New Zealand (WBCP) will debut on 27 March with fan-favourite DC Comics Super Heroes, Superman and Wonder Woman.

The Heroes Ammo collection follows the brand’s first instalment, a range of edgy and ever-popular Batman inspired apparel, and forms part of WBCP's third partnership with Black Milk, with previous success in 2013’s The Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter collections.

Featuring Black Milk's iconic body-hugging swimsuits with capes, bold tees and more, this latest collection is a colourful and on-trend homage to the characters and themes of the Superman and Wonder Woman brands.

Designer and Founder of Black Milk Clothing, James Lillis, said the latest range embodies the strength and empowerment of two of DC Comics most iconic characters. “Wonder Woman and Superman are the ultimate Super Heroes; they are bold, brave and unwavering in their commitment to fighting the bad guys.

“The characters and stories represent pop culture that's stood the test of time; being able to draw on this heritage and apply it to a cutting edge and stylish collection is really exciting for us,” Mr Lillis said.

The Heroes Ammo collection will also offer limited release anti-heroes printed t-shirts, from the acclaimed graphic novel Watchmen. The Black Freighter and Rorschach tees will only be available to purchase for 48 hours after the collection launch.

Black Milk Clothing Head of Marketing and Sales, Cameron Parker, believes the new range will continue to build on the recent success of Black Milk's Batman collection. “Like many of us, I grew up with Superman but to my dismay, was rarely allowed to wear the costume out of the house; so now it's exciting to see these iconic comic prints and artwork incorporated into everyday street style trends,” Parker said.

Preston Kevin Lewis, Managing Director, WBCP Australia, New Zealand and India, has watched the meteoric rise of the fashion company over the years and is thrilled Warner Bros. Consumer Products has been a big part of its journey.

“The Black Milk and WBCP partnership continues to go from strength to strength as fans are once again offered the perfect fit to connect with their favourite stories and characters through stylised, trend-setting fashion. We have no doubt this next phase of our third partnership will continue to build on this success,” Mr Lewis said.
