Toscotec has installed its PM1 machine at the Rossmann Group’s Papeterie Sical facility in Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France.
The PM1 machine has been installed at the facility to produce container board products.
The machine, which has a web width of 2.570mm and a design speed of 500m/min, produces container board grades as brown test liners, brown liners and medium in the range 100 to 220 g/m2 with a capacity of 45.000 tons per annum.
The press section and related parts were modified to improve the quality of the products being produced at the facility
Papeterie Sical facility also includes new TT Combi-Press with a tailored TT Pick-up press roll and new press rolls with related cleaning doctors.
It also features a major press frame rebuilt integrated in the wire section structure, in addition to the complete tail threading from press to dryer section, including the area of the existing shoe press in last position.
The new TT steel dryer is part of the rebuild, which features erection, erection supervision, start-up assistance and training.
With a box plants production capacity of 500.000 tons per year, Rossmann Group provides packaging services to the customers in Europe and Africa.
The company has ten sheets plants in Western Europe and one in Burkina Faso.
