The Navigators Group has set up a new professional liability unit and named Henry Lopez as its president.
The new professional liability unit will continue to underwrite existing E&O products of Navigators for its clients.
Based in the company's Chicago office and reporting to Navigators Specialty president Jeff Saunders, Lopez will be responsible for the portfolio of professional liability products in his new role.
Lopez held service with Navigators Management Company as zonal vice president for the US western & central zones as well as various leadership positions with the Markel Corporation.
He is also a member of the National Association of Professional Surplus Lines Offices. (NAPSLO) and Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS).
