Packaging products manufacturer Starlinger has unveiled new 3D ad*starKON HX conversion line at K 2016 in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Developed for block bottom valve sacks, the production line includes coated polypropylene tape fabric scores with intelligent features such as automatic valve and cover patch adjustment and highly precise bottom geometry.

The ad*starKON HX can produce 140 sacks per minute, with the support of an advanced sack transport system.

Starlingee sales director Hermann Adrigan said: "A sack producer plays in the top league with this conversion line.

"Our customers are well aware of this - we have already sold the first ad*starKON HX lines here at the exhibition."

Starlinger has also launched new REICO*STAR block bottom valve sack, which was developed in collaboration with Reifenhäuser Reicofil.

The new block bottom valve sack, which is made of PP-coated spunbond nonwoven, can be used for packaging dry bulk goods such as cement, granulate, seeds, animal feed or chemicals.

Starlinger has also developed a new technology for PET tape production. The technology enables to produce PET tapes directly from bottle flakes.

At the event, Mexican recycling firm GREEN has purchased viscoSHEET PET sheet production line from Starlinger viscotec.

The production line produces PET sheet recycling material that can be used for food grade packaging.

Starlinger has also showcased its recycling technology, which will reduce odours during and after recycling.

Additionally, the firm showcased its Rapid Sleeve Changer, a new filter unit for producers and recyclers of polyester filaments and biax films.
