RPC Promens Innocan Develops New Pet Containers for Edible Oil

Plastic packaging firm RPC Promens Innocan has introduced a new range of PET containers designed for the edible oil sector.

The fully-recyclable containers feature wide labeling area to allow manufacturers to maximize brand image and on-shelf appeal.

Additionally, the material's inherent barrier properties are expected to increase shelf life of the products, RPC said.

Available in a range of standard sizes including 2, 5, 10, 15, and 20 liters, the containers are also designed to enable companies to create family ranges to meet their requirements while reducing tooling costs.

The lightweight, ergonomic design of the container also ensures safe and easy handling for consumer while its central neck allows easy pouring with no glugging.

RPC said that the stackable containers offer pallet utilization to maximize loads and reduce costs.

Recently, RPC said it has developed a new thermoformed twist cup for Orkla Foods Norway’s Denja range.

RPC Superfos and RPC Promens have worked with Orkla to develop a thermoformed twist cup with an injection moulded screw lid, which can be used for a new selection of Denja range such as shrimps, beans, chicken or beetroot.

UK based RPC is engaged in designing and manufacturing of polymer conversion technologies including injection moulding, blow moulding, thermoforming, and rotational moulding.

It serves six packaging and non-packaging sectors including food, non-food, personal care, beverage, healthcare, and technical components.
