Bvcps Has Opened Its New Electrical & Electronics Lab Specializing in The Testing in China

Quality assurance provider, Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services (BVCPS) has opened its new Electrical & Electronics laboratory specializing in the testing and certification of automotive components and systems, and large domestic appliances in Guangzhou, China.

According to BVCPS, the 2,300m2 lab will offer testing support to the growing automotive industry in China.

The company's new Automotive Product Testing Lab adds a wide range of range of EMC and reliability (vibration / mechanical, climatic & combined mechanical / climatic) testing services.

BVCPS highlighted that the products to be tested includes infotainment systems, airbag/engine ECUs, window motors, lighting systems, alternators, air temperature controller packing systems, remote keyless entry systems, and hybrid components.

The Lab will also facilitate performance and safety testing for household electrical products including dishwashers and washing machines.

Bureau Veritas' Guangzhou E&E Lab manager Sabrina Xue said, "The setup of this laboratory is a key milestone in Bureau Veritas' expansion of its automotive and electrical and electronics business line.

"As well as the addition of a key location to our fast-expanding Automotive and E&E network, unique to our Guangzhou lab are two multi-function performance test chambers."
