Seattle-based Nordstrom, Inc. announced plans to open a Nordstrom Rack at The Center at Rancho Niguel in Laguna Niguel, Calif. The approximately 29,500-square-foot store is scheduled to open in spring 2015. The property is owned and managed by Buie Stoddard Group.

The new will move into a space formerly occupied by Loehmann's and join tenants such as Ethan Allen, BevMo! and Thomasville Furniture. The center is located on the west side of Interstate 5 at the intersection of the 73 Toll Freeway and Crown Valley Parkway.

"We've been fortunate for the many years of service we've been able to provide in Orange County and are happy to offer a more convenient location for customers in and around the communities of Laguna Niguel."

When it opens, the Laguna Niguel Nordstrom Rack will be the seventh Rack in Orange County. The company operates six Nordstrom stores in Orange County as well.
