RPC Bramlage Secures Three Environmental Packaging Accreditations for Airfree Packs

RPC Bramlage has secured an approval from Ecocert and Cosmos organizations for its standard AirFree packs.

The company has also received COTREP (Technical Committee for Plastic Packaging Recycling) certification, which supports the recyclability of the pack.

According to RPC, the emphasis that the company places on sustainable packaging solutions has been underlined by three different environmental packaging accreditations.

The AirFree bag-in-bottle technology was developed by using polyolefin plastic. The external layer of the bottle is developed by using recycled PE, while the internal pouch layer in contact with the formula uses virgin PE.

The pouch also includes EVOH, a barrier to oxygen that assures the integrity of the formula with an optimized restitution up to 98%.

Produced in one single operation, the patented AirFree technology is said to be a sustainable airless system that enables any shapes of bottle from 15ml to 1250 ml.

The 100ml, 200ml and 400ml Vega AirFree bottles integrate cosolution pump and 20ml twist-up dispenser, making suitable for face and body creams.

The packs’ airless technology helps in protecting natural ingredients as it avoids air from entering the pack either before or during usage

In July, RPC Bramlage opened a new production hall at Velky Meder in Slovakia, which has doubled the size of the injection moulding production area.

The 2700m² area will offer improved support for the Bramlage division’s customers in Eastern and Southern Europe. It features new injection moulding equipment and assembly lines.
