Anver Introduces Miniature Vacuum Cups

Anver Corporation has introduced new miniature 1.5 Bellows Vacuum Cups, which are the size of a pencil eraser.

The cup, available in two sizes and two materials - Silicone and Neoprene - are touted to be robust enough to pick and place watch batteries whilst being gentle to handle pharmaceutical products.

The cups range from diameters between 6.2mm and 9.6mm. The vacuum cups have been developed in such a way that they can duplicate the function of mechanical springs and ball-joint connectors in a smaller and economical manner.

Their spring action compensates height variances in the load or machine inaccuracies. Each cup sports a soft seal lip to deal with flexible and stacked loads that may be curved or lightly textured or lightly corrugated.

The cups have been drawn from dye-free, non-marring Silicone or an all-purpose Neoprene.

Anver's proprietary Silicone is claimed to be chosen for applications requiring food-grade nod from the FDA Title 21 or German specification BGVV (BGA) Part XV for contaminant-free load handling.

The cups are also utilized in other applications related to hot molded parts, electronics, or objects requiring level compensation for low head-room.

Established in 1968, Anver specializes in vacuum handling technology.
