Nissan Patrol Have Leaked Just Hours out From Its Unveiling at The Dubai Motor Show

Nissan Patrol: Facelift Leaked Ahead of Dubai Debut

Images of the facelifted Nissan Patrol have leaked just hours out from its unveiling at the Dubai motor show.

The images – published by Drive Arabia and Nissan-Arabia – reveal styling tweaks for the Japanese manufacturer’s full-size SUV, which, though only on sale in new-generation Y62 specification in Australia since February, launched overseas almost three years ago at the beginning of 2010.

The images expose new headlamp assemblies that feature dark lenses and C-shaped LED daytime running lights.

The Patrol’s new grille comprises horizontal slats bridged by deeper-set V-shaped lines, replacing the diamond-mesh pattern of the original. The bumper gets squarer lines around the fog lamps and lower central intake.

Other visible changes include a chrome finish for the mirror caps and new lower side skirts, new alloy wheels and red tail-light elements.

The cabin is said to gain a tan leather upholstery option and a wood grain steering wheel.

The Patrol’s 298kW/560Nm 5.6-litre V8 petrol engine is believed to carry over unchanged into the updated model.

Also leaked was the Nissan Patrol Black, a special edition model limited to 200 units for the Middle East finished with a matt black body and grille and red leather upholstery.

Full details of the update are expected to be released shortly.
