Condition of Chinese polycrystalline silicon profession admittance will enter the essence operational phase in the next month.
China Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released to the provinces recently, announced verification of the material by the initial enterprises get the access applications. In addition, the verification result and material is requested to handed in before July 15th.
Ministry of Industry in a notice posted on its Web site saying, name list of enterprises that meet the admittance condition will be published by the relevant departments after commissioned review of application materials by the experts and testing organizations .
Profited from the rapid expansion of the international solar PV market , price of the raw material - has rose from about $ 30 per kilogram in 2005 to $ 500,the highest point of 2008. The huge profits attracted a large number of domestic enterprises to invest in Polycrystalline silicon project ,which may lead to the over-supply if all the constructions goal in production capacity .
The "Polycrystalline silicon Profession Admittance Application Report" announced by the Government early this year stipulated that the lowest capital in cash proportion should not to be lower than 30%, scale of the solar polycrystalline silicon project must be more than 3000 ton per year , and strict rules also have been made on energy consumption and resource conditions.
