Germany-based RKW is set to exhibit its latest range of films and laminates for surgical and woundcare applications at this year’s Medica event in Germany.
The event will take place between 13 and 16 November in Düsseldorf.
At the event, the company will present Medicace range, which is used in disposable surgical drapes that will prevent cross contamination during surgery.
Medicace range can also be used in the production of back-table and mayo-stand covers.
RKW will also exhibit Gownace range that offers optimum breathability and comfort levels, in addition to serving as an effective barrier to liquids and bacteria.
The company will exhibit a range of embossed films and laminates for woundcare applications.
According to the company, the product will meet the challenges of effective liquid barrier properties, comfort, flexibility and breathability.
RKW medical sales manager Sophie Litt said: “Reliability is critical when it comes to providing materials to the healthcare industry. Our objective is to supply the highest quality product, creating and sustaining long-lasting relationships with our business partners.”
Based in Frankenthal, RKW produces different film solutions, including hygiene and agricultural films, films for the beverage industry and packaging for powdery goods.
The company also produces films and nonwovens for medical applications, as well as chemical and converting industries.
