Comexi Unveils New Consolidated Offset Printing Technology

Flexible packaging solutions provider Comexi has unveiled a new CI8 consolidated offset printing technology.

Comexi C18 offset printing system can be operated at speeds up to 300m/min with enhanced quality and color adjustment.

The machine can print up to eight colors, including seven offset and one flexo EB, with a web width of 900mm or 1100mm and speed up to 300m per minute.

It features automation system and robot, which will enable to automatically handle all the sleeves involved in the printing process.

Comexi CI8 also includes lithographic plates that helps in more cost savings compared to photopolymers or engraved cylinder that were used in traditional flexographic and rotogravure technologies.

According to the company, the Comexi CI8 offset provides maximum flexibility in the production process and all operating parameters can be stored and retrieved digitally.

The plates will also help in minimizing runs and reduce printer material in stock.

The company has opened an open house at its headquarters in Riudellots de la Selva in Girona, Spain. It exhibits the firm’s enhanced printing that offers advanced offset technology.

Comexi provides manufacturing equipment for flexible packaging conversion industry.

It operates five product lines that can be used in different conversion processes, including flexography printing, offset printing, rotogravure printing, laminating, slitting and logistic complements.
