The Micro 52 SD TP and 52 SUV entry-level laminator with in-line spot UV unit will make its UK show début alongside the Micro 52 MF laminator for short runs.
The Micro 52, launched at Drupa last year, is a portrait B2 thermal laminator which boasts quick makeready and a footprint of 2 x 1m. It is fed by a continuous-run Heidelberg-Stahl feeder and has a perfecting feature for single-pass double-sided lamination.
The Micro 52 SUV spot-UV machine is ‘ideal for shorter runs’, Autobond said, and has already been sold to PSPs world-wide. Also designed for short runs of between one and 500 sheets, the Micro 52 MF runs at up to 15m/min, and its modular design gives PSPs to option to add a full rising pile Heidelberg Speedmaster 52 feed head and an automatic sheet separator.
