RPC Containers Oakham Developed New B&Q Pails for Newlife Paints

Open-top polypropylene containers manufacturer RPC Containers Oakham has developed new B&Q pails for Newlife Paints. The plastic pails incorporate 25% recycled content.

RPC Oakham collaborated with UK's recycled plastics suppliers to create the container and ensure a polymer, which is capable of withstanding the weight of paint.

The optimum proportion of recycled polymer, according to tests, was 25% to maintain the highest standard of consumer functionality and convenience, RPC claims.

The injection molded PP pail is available in a 5l size, with enough space for decoration.

Newlife founder and managing director Keith Harrison said, "We are proud of the environmentally friendly nature of our paint, so it was important that the container could help support those credentials as far as possible. RPC Oakham was able to do that and we're delighted with the partnership."
