Tesco Launches New Packaging to Revamps Meat, Fish and Poultry Range

British multinational grocery Tesco is revamping its meat,fish and poultry range,by launching new packaging,in-store signage and enhanced products within the line.

The store has increased the meat content in its burgers and sausages from 86%-90%and has also boosted the maturation time for Tesco beef joints and steaks to 28 days,reported the Food&Drink Innovation Network.

The retailer has also increased the staff,by includings 45 new quality assurance managers responsible for the quality check of meat,fish and poultry products before they reach the stores.

Tesco's chicken range will now be low-fat and will also be corn-fed and bacon and lamb mince,said the company.

Tesco Meat,Fish and Poultry director Derek Lawlor said that customers have reported that meat,fish and poultry are really important items,so the company has put in efforts to revamp the range and improve the shopping experience.in store."
