Eyeking Adds Scott Betty as SVP Product and Design

Eyeking, a maker performance sunglasses, including the licenses for Under Armour Eyewear and Hobie Polarized, named Scott Betty as its new senior vice president of product and design.

Betty brings more than 20 years of product and design experience to the company, most recently as global director of optics at Oakley.  There, he was instrumental in helping build a multi-category team responsible for strategic product development and design for sunglasses, Rx and goggles.

Betty also led Oakley’s apparel, footwear and accessories business unit during his tenure. His resume includes footwear category leadership positions at Converse and Adidas, as well as a biomechanics specialist role at the U.S Olympic Training Center.
