Australia-based equipments firm Novasys Group has introduced Hanatek Carton Force Analysers (CFA) to increase the speed of carton packaging and optimize design.
The Hanatek CFA is capable of measuring all the forces needed to erect and fill cartons, identify the critical design areas and cut down on waste.
The analyzers can isolate and measure the energy required to open creases that determines the pre-glued skillets packaging speeds, in addition to optimizing carton design and predicting the running speed of samples for machine time commitment.
ISO/BS/TAPPI test methods are also provided by the CFA, which also measure the forces that limit the running speed of folding board packaging, and bespoke test methods can be created and saved.
The CFA allows fingerprints to be saved and overlaid for detailed comparison of various crease formats, batches and substrates.
