Greiner Packaging International has created a new 370ml cup for Emmi’s Caffè Latte. The packaging has a convex shape, which is based on the design of original Italian Caffè-Latte glasses.
The new 'Mister Big' package, which has been made using injection molding technology, is decorated with semi-gloss sleeves. The lid's design is said to satisfy demanding tightness requirements.
Greiner Packaging in Diepoldsau sales director Jens Krause said the company solved the task by using a dipping sealing lid as well as a double-snap function.
"One of the specific challenges during the implementation of the packaging project was to transfer the excellent properties of the existing tried-and-true packaging, one-to-one, to a larger volume, with its looks and functionality equally concerned," Krause added.
The complete packaging solution comprising the cup and lid is delivered from one source.
